Entrepreneurial Journey
I have started my entrepreneur journey in September 2022 after more than two decades working in the luxury and spirits industry for leading companies like Cartier, Richemont, William Grant's, Maxxium Global, Maxxium NL (JV(Bols/Edrington) and Zamora Company having the chance to live in the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Industry Experience
I feel very fortunate to have worked on both sides of the table as a brand owner and as a distributor on a local, regional as well as global level which give me a lot of empathy and understanding of the full the chain of responsibility from the producer to the consumer.
Consulting Work
For the last two years I have invested in interesting projects but mostly I have been consulting for start-ups, small-mid size companies on a variety of missions from strategic planning, international expansion, company reorganization, brand building up to M&A operations. Helping these amazing entrepreneurs to develop their business and materialize their vision was truly enjoyable and brought me an incredible learning experience.
Birth & Acceleration of ESCALON PARTNERS
ESCALON PARTNERS was born from a simple and recurring demand: brand owners were not only seeking strategic advice, but increasingly asking for hands-on support to expand their distribution and accelerate their market presence. As these requests multiplied, and leveraging a strong international network built over years in the spirits industry, it became clear that this activity required a dedicated platform. ESCALON PARTNERS was officially launched on March 1st, 2025, with a clear focus: supporting premium spirits brands in distribution expansion and brand building across key international markets. In early 2026, ESCALON entered a new phase of development with the acquisition of the beverage division of ACTIUM, marking a significant step in its growth trajectory. This strategic move allowed ESCALON to become fully operational across Latin America and the Caribbean. Today, ESCALON PARTNERS operates as an integrated brand agency, combining strategic vision, commercial execution, and regional expertise to drive sustainable growth for its partners. With a strengthened team, an expanded geographic scope, and a growing portfolio of brands, ESCALON is positioned as a key platform for premium spirits development across Europe and the Americas.
Building a Team
Building a small team was therefore the start of this new journey to be "feet in the street" and to have the chance to work with people with creative thinking and endless positive energy.
Industry Philosophy
In our industry, we usually say at the dinner that it is all about brands and people (in this order) and I am not saying that brands are not important but for me it is all about people.
